Over 70 people from many communities in the Scenic Rim gathered at a public meeting at Beaudesert on Friday March 18 to learn more about the coal mining and coal seam gas threats now impacting on the Scenic Rim region. Beechmont was represented at the meeting by BBEN president Sally MacKinnon and local resident George Parrott.

12midday on Live local music - Confined Spaces; Will Miller and Friends
All day sausage sizzle, tea/coffee, cold drinks
Local stalls - seeds, beauty products, fresh produce, arts/crafts
$10 per adult; kids are free
Every family receives a sample bag of local, organic citrus to take home (while stocks last)
