Beechmont is a place of peace and restoration. We are surrounded by World Heritage listed rainforest and embraced by rolling green hills. Overhead, we are blessed by big blue skies during the day and dark nights where you can see the Milky Way breathe. In this extraordinary environment, it’s not surprising to find that Beechmont is home to many gifted health & wellbeing practitioners, many of whom will be at Zest offering massages, sampler classes and a selection of their products. At 10.35am inside the Hall on Graceleigh, local yoga teacher Shirley Hicks is offering a free sampler Dru Yoga class. www.shirleyhicks.com.au At 12.50pm, Daniel from “Raw and Peace” one of Beechmont’s newest raw food and wellbeing practices, is offering a free sampler Kahuna Massage demonstration. Throughout the day in the foyer of the hall, we invite you to meet some of Beechmont’s massage therapists who are offering sampler and longer massages to Zest guests (charges apply according to each therapist). At the Zest Market, you’ll also meet some of our local and regional health & wellbeing practitioners and be able to sample their products:

Regular yoga and relaxation sessions can provide significant health benefits. Reductions in blood pressure, stress levels and an improvement in the ability to focus and concentrate are just some of the outcomes. A recent study asked regular attendees of Dru Yoga how they had benefited from regularly attending a class. The results were quite astounding. RESULTS OF DRU YOGA
Dru Yoga is a style of yoga that leads you to stillness through movement, whilst at the same time calming the mind from its scattered focus into a focus of concentration. Dru Yoga has developed into a powerful series of sequences, postures and visualisations which are capable of transforming health and well being by balancing the energies of the body, heart and mind. Characterised by powerful, flowing movements that channel and transform the body's subtle energy through the heart, Dru Yoga creates healing and unity. Tailored for the 21st century, yet rooted in ancient yogic tradition, Dru yoga has rapidly made its mark as one of the most effective antidotes to the stresses of modern day living. Why not come along and join in on the sampler Dru Yoga class at Zest Fest and find out what a lot of Beechmont residents have discovered themselves- that yoga is fun , relaxing and can help you put the ZEST back into your life- See you there!
