BAPA held its first General Meeting for 2018 on Monday 19 February 2018 at the Beechmont Community Centre. A well attended and amicable event. At the meeting it was announced that BAPA will be looking for a new management team or an operator to run the Headmasters Cafe on the Beechmont roundabout.
Our Headmasters Cafe subcommittee management team Glyn and Dianne Edwards have done a wonderful job over the last two years in getting the Headmasters Cafe show on the road. They will now go for a long and well earned holiday to the USA by the end of March 2018. BAPA is now actively looking for a new management team to serve on the Headmasters Cafe subcommittee and is inviting expressions of interest to reach BAPA before the end of February 2018 from preferably well experienced hospitality people with a bond or an affinity to Beechmont. It’s not an easy job. Running a busy cafe is hard work. The BAPA Headmasters Cafe has become a real well frequented social hub where locals and tourists can meet and have something to eat and drink in a wonderful country setting. BAPA would love to see that grow into the Beechmont community meeting place of choice.
if you want to be involved, please feel free to talk in confidence with the BAPA President, and talk with the current operators on site.
Expressions of Interest for the new Headmasters Cafe management team are invited to be lodged in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org before close of business on Wednesday 28 February 2018.
