Beechmont Area Progress Association Inc (BAPA) invites Expressions of Interest for the operation of the Headmasters Café and Gallery
The Headmaster’s Cottage, as part of the Old School on the Beechmont roundabout, was established as the local Café and Gallery a few years ago offering great coffee, cake and light meals. A fabulous meeting place for both locals and tourists. The availability of strong Telstra 4G mobile service and free Wi-Fi for the Café patrons makes it ideal for accessing the internet on a portable device.
Local artists and artisans have been encouraged to exhibit their work within its walls proving to be a draw card for art lovers and students.
The site boasts an Op-Shop, a Community Garden as well as a separate class room building, which is hired out to local groups for craft groups, yoga and the like.
Expressions of Interest are invited for the operation of the Headmasters Café with its aim to serve the community. Submissions can be emailed to the BAPA Secretary on
Please consider the following in your submission:
- What does a Community Café mean to you?
- Are you a local and do you support community activities?
- What ideas or concepts do you see improving the growth of the café?
- How would these ideas involve BAPA and the local community?
- Why do you think you are a person most suited?
BAPA is an incorporated ‘not-for-profit’ organization and has a number of dedicated volunteers who may be able to assist in various roles.
